The band from Arkansas founded by Rockey Jones along with lead guitarist/vocalist Michael Vance, drummer Daniel Rangel and bassist Damon Shores have been blazing new music trails across the entire mid south region, growing their fan base at a rapid rate with their unique blend of southern rock style, country melodies, blue collar message and tight harmony.
The band was signed to Render Records in April of 2013. Since that time the band has enjoyed success with two top 40 Charted Singles at Country Radio including “Back In The Day” and “The Last Song”. Their latest single “Crank It Up” made it’s way onto the charts within one week of it’s release in April of 2014 and is one of the fastest rising songs on country radio.
DOWNDAY started to make waves with country fans in 2013 when their debut single and video “Back In The Day” was added to the playlists of every major music video network including CMT, GAC, TNN and ZUUS Country.
The band is currently awaiting the release of their sophomore album entitled “After All These Years” which will hit retail stores and online retailers on May 27th 2014 and includes special guests such as Jonathan Cain from the super group Journey as well as members of Luke Bryan’s touring band.
